John Rubiola brings thirty-three years of on the job experience to the Rubiola Construction Team. This wealth of experience has provided John with extensive knowledge in all areas of construction including project administration, project management, preservation techniques, scheduling, and pre-construction. John has worked on a vast number of projects of all types and sizes, many of these projects within historically significant sites. As the principal owner of Rubiola Construction, his responsibilities include overseeing project managers, superintendents, human resources, estimating and client relations.
Shane Valentine is an integral part of the Rubiola Construction Team as project manager, joining Rubiola Construction in 2014, after working for award-wining firm Poteet Architects under Jim Poteet, FAIA. Shane’s fourteen years of on the job experience have given him the ability to seamlessly execute a project from start to finish. He has managed a large variety of projects such as civic, religious, educational, retail, corporate, light industrial and specialty facilities. Shane’s responsibilities include project management, supervision, administration, and communication; schedule and budget maintenance; and subcontractor negotiations/relations. During pre-construction, Shane provides scheduling, estimating, and constructability reviews. Shane holds a Masters Degree of Architecture from the University of Texas San Antonio.
